Even though I’ve been a sucky blogger and haven’t posted in almost a month, I just can’t let the 5 days leading up to potentially the movie I am most excited about seeing in the world pass without commemorating the occasion.
Don’t know what this momentous film opening is? DO YOU LIVE UNDER A ROCK?? Even if you do call a cave or some other unsavory place home, then surely you know what movie I’m talking about if you’ve ever read Oscartini before.
Yes. It’s almost time for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, part 2. The finale. The conclusion. The END OF A WONDERFUL SERIES!
As a celebration of the end of H to the P, I present: the first of my 5 favorite Harry Potter movie moments.
This moment comes from the most recent HP movie, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1. This was an intense part in the first half of the finale (um spoiler alert? The movie did come out last year…) and occurred during the wedding scene: when Kingsley’s Patronus comes to warn the wedding guests and order members that the Death Eaters are coming.
This is such a favorite of mine because it’s so intense; “The Minestry has fallen. The Minister of magic is dead. They are coming.” I loved this part when I read it in the book, and I love how it was done in the movie. You know ish is about to go down. Start the below video at 3:30 for the full impact!
Though I’m usually a stickler for sticking to the books, I loved this insertion. It was such a semi-cheerful interlude during an otherwise somber time for our favorite trio.
What was your favorite HP scene from the 7th movie? Leave it below in the comments, and check back tomorrow for another fav moment!
